I have a Deltaplus XL and am currently running version 1.4 on NT and
relatively happy with the performance. I considered upgrading to 2.0 on my
own terms and not when 1.4 decided not to work. I sent and email to Frank
Trensch who contacted the factory. I was concerned with using v2.0 with a
GBIB driver since the Delta XP has the optical driver.

Below is the answer from the factory in Germany:

"Basically, the driver for the PCI-GPIB control card in the computer is not
stable with the Mass Spec under Windows XP.
This was tested with the GPIB driver version 2.0.

Now the version 2.1 is available and it is still untested for our MSs:

Customers can try it at their own risk and responsibility. Our official
statement is that it doesn't work.

Therefore Windows NT would still be required with the GPIB interface.

XP and ISODAT NT 2.0 work fine with the optical driver."

Good luck if you try it.

Sean
