Gerry,
Thanks so much for the information. After looking a little longer, I found some installation documentation that says the reference 1 capillary should be 0.025mm by 100 cm, but with the same vent specs as you have listed there. The funny thing is that I'm having a heck of a time locating 0.025mm ID DAFS capillary, so I will give your 0.075 ID x 2000mm a try.
Best,
Mike

Hi Mike--
A few more things (manual too big for my e-mail)...
The new catalog also gives some alternatives, e.g. 0.075 ID, 2000mm.
The vent is 0.10 mm ID, 200mm. Note, the smaller ID tubing can come
with thick wall variants that may not work so well in the open split.
Also, no mention of "deactivated" or "undeactivated" fused silica. I've
only seen the GCC operating manual specify, and that was for deactivated
fused silica--which has the same part # as the fused silica in other
manuals (N.B. It's not specified in the GCC's service manual, where you
find the part numbers). Check your favorite chromatography company for
their guard columns (methyl or dimethyl deactivated), or SIS.
good luck...
