School of Civil Engineering - QUESTOR Tools

Applications are invited for this research post, funded by Invest
Northern Ireland as part of the QUESTOR Environmental Tools Programme.
The post, initially for one year, will involve laboratory and field
based research into contaminated land and groundwater remediation within
the Environmental Engineering Research Centre.

Applicants must have a minimum of an upper second class BSc honours
degree (or equivalent) in geology, hydrogeology, chemistry,
environmental science, civil engineering, environmental engineering, or
a related discipline. At least one year’s relevant experience in an
appropriate field is essential and experience of hydrogeology within the
context of contaminated land and groundwater investigations is highly
desirable. Additional criteria are available in the further particulars
for the post.

Salary scale: £18,894 - £21,012 per annum
