Hello All,

We are running a vacuum ion source (it accepts CO2 samples) with Leybold
turbo pumps. The ion source manufacturer claims that there is a bad batch:
we know of several pumps that have failed after a year or less in service.

Is anybody else using Leybold turbos, and are you finding a similar
premature failure?

Thanks in advance.
