Hi there.
The focus unit (MS766) of our VG Sector 54 fails to provide a stable voltage. When the unit is cold the voltage is stable at 8kV for about 5 minutes. Then it drops down continously. 
According to our electrician I replaced the triode valve (PD500, not easy to get), but the problem persists. Even when the unit is pulled out of the cabinet and not connected to the instrument. After being switched off for about an hour, the above pattern can be reproduced. Looks like a temperature problem of a component.
Any ideas?
