Just a thought and a question.

I used up a reduction column on Friday night.  Large NO pulse showing on 
the MS.

On Monday we were able to run at least 20 more samples with no NO visible.

What's the answer?  Obviously I did not run methane or H2 through the 
column over the weekend!  Does the oxidation rim on the grains diffuse 
slowly inwards over time, restoring some reduction potential to the 
exterior?
