Greetings,

For colleagues we measured some deep sea carbonates (sparite) which
showed depleted d13C values of about -60permil and below.
High methan concentrations were measured in the surrounding sediments.
I haven't dealed much with methan deposits and stable isotopes on
passive continental margins. A quick Georef check brought up a huge
stack of literature.

Does anyone have a good recent reference/review at his fingertips 
to start with?
