Hi all,
This past weekend we were having a problem with our Kiel IV carbonate
device. The acid solenoid which closes and opens the acid valve was
malfunctioning for line 2; and acid was full in the vial when I came to work on
Monday. And the acid drop signal light on Kiel screen was green which means
the valve is open and acid keep flowing. I am NOT able to turn the green light
off.
I removed and cleaned the acid drop counter, checked the electromagnetic
valve, but still without success. I switched the acid counter on the side of
the acid valve from line 2 to line 1 and the problem appeared from line 2 to line
1. Which I think the problem might be from the electric board, but NOT SURE?
I checked all the connections and everything seems fine.
When doing acid drop test on line 1 it was fine, but line 2 keep dripping acid .
Even though acid is continuously dropping and touching the acid drop counter
ISODAT is not getting the signal.
Any suggestion or anyone encountered the same problem.
Thanks for the suggestion
Million
