HI Bev--

You can take the syringe out, then turn the power off and let the 
assembly fall down so you can see the bit that hold the plunger and make 
sure it's screwed all the way in.  It's hard to reach (or see) 
otherwise.  Then its just powering up and "change syringe", and if 
you're lucky, that's it.
