The University of Nebraska Water Sciences Laboratory currently has an
opening for a full-time Research Technologist who will perform analysis of
water, soil and sediment samples using inductively coupled plasma-mass
spectrometry (ICP-MS).

Responsibilities include developing sample preparation and instrumental
protocols for analyses and instruments, preparing and analyzing samples,
primary data validation, assembly/maintaining of raw data packages.
Maintain equipment and assist with training.

Bachelor’s in analytical chemistry, water sciences or related field plus
three years relevant research experience required; equivalency considered.
Experience performing chemical analysis essential.
