Hi Paul
It sounds like one of two things:
1) Isodat is expecting a trigger from the Gameport which is the "Ready" signal from a GC. This was used for older GCs and the old Isodat (pre 1.5) where the GC Ready needed a way to tell the autosampler it was ready to let it start. To overide this and see if it can start, go to the Configurator and, under "Interface" set the Gameport to FAKE (it is a toggle, click once to change it's value). I'm guessing this is on a GC system that you have the PAL on.

2) In your method under the Time Events tab. Check the "Aquisition Start" box. There are 3 choices: Immediatly, by GC and By Enter Key. Since Isodat 1.5 you can get rid of the Gameport if your GC (HP6890 or TraceGC) has a Comport connection (e.g. COM2) by having a serial cable between the computer and the GC. Again if you go this route the Gameport has to be set to FAKE.
