What's the lowest concentration of nitrate you can cope with? And, crucially, what are the issues for preservation/sterilisation? And prices/turnaround?

Subject: [ISOGEOCHEM] nitrate isotopic analyses
Dear Isotopists,
My lab is now offering nitrogen and oxygen isotopic analyses of nitrate
using the denitrifier method (Sigman et al., Analytical Chemistry 2001;
Casciotti et al., Analytical Chemistry, 2002) on a cost per sample
basis as a service to the community. We can accommodate large
throughput, small sample volumes, in seawater or freshwater samples.
Sample requirements are 10-20 nmoles of nitrate per analysis. Costs
would be charged by purchase order. For those who are interested in
this service, please contact me directly for pricing and other
information.
thanks,
Karen
