Dear Connie,

For the redaction of my PhD thesis, I found much general information in:

"Stable Isotopes In Ecology and Environmental Science" (Methods in ecology),
by K. Lajtha, R.H. Michener, from Blackwell Scientific Publications, 1994

"Stable Isotopes In The Biosphere", edited by E.Wada, T. Yoneyama, M.
Minagawa, T. Ando, B.D. Fry, from Kyoto University Press, 1995, Japan

These books are perhaps the most updated, but they were good for my purposes
(thesis on food authentication).

Ciao.

Subject: [ISOGEOCHEM] Textbook on (stable) isotopes

Dear Isogeochemists,

I will be teaching an upper-level undergraduate course on “Isotopic
Tracers in the Environment” this fall (mostly on stable isotopes) and I
was wondering whether anybody can suggest a good textbook or has a script,
booklet or report that you might be willing to share?!

I am looking for something that includes a broader range of (stable)
isotope applications in Earth and Environmental Sciences not ‘just’
geology (Faure) or Hydrogeology (Fritz and Clark). The broader the better!

Any suggestions and ideas are highly appreciated!!
Best regards – CONNIE
