Hi everyone,

 	We wish to set up a new stable isotopes laboratory to share 
amongst several Groups, including environmental scientists, forensic 
chemists, dendroclimatologists, geologists and archaeologists. We have 
funds for three mass specs and would like some advice as to which
instruments to buy. The choice seems to be between GVI 'isoprime' and
Finnigan 'MAT'. Can you say which you think is the most reliable and which 
has best service. We want to measure H,C,N,O,and S isotopes.
