Hello,
The chiller for our Multiprep recently failed. The technician found
predictable problems (leaky O-rings, loss of refridgerant, air in system
and some corrosion) and can fix them but we have a minor mystery. The
compressor is rated for only one refridgerant -134a- and this cannot
reach the required temperatures; its minimum is about -40. Yet the
system has always worked fine and my water background is low. The unit
is a LabPlant RP-100.
Does anyone understand what is going on?
thanks,
David
