Hi Neil,

Sounds like your trap is leaking... it happened to me a few times. Try to bring your trap current down to 100. If it works (source status 0), then you have a leak on your trap. It usually is the ceramic spacer on top of the trap box that moves ever so slightly creating a gap from which your trap is leaking.

Good luck.

Objet : [ISOGEOCHEM] ISOPRIME SOURCE PROB

Dear all:

I recently replaced the filament on my isoprime source, only to find that
the source wouldnt come on when selected. After venting I did a thorough
electrical conncetivity test on all pins right from the source housing
through to those pins that connect to the electronics box. Ensuring that no
connector were touching in and around the source itself I reattached the
source flange and when the vacuum and pressures were at desired
levels...again nothing. Souce Status: red bar, reading 255 changed to red
bar reading 18.0 when source switched on. Perhaps there was a leak on the
capilliaries from my ref box and EA so changed the union fitting here right
before the NUPRO...no effect still reading 18 with a red bar. Assuming good
connectivity and no leak (Hi Vac 4e-2 prior to source turn on) how can i
resolve this problem

Cheers

Neil
