A relatively local lab to you, with the the experience of this type of analysis and personnel to advise you, is at Trent Uni in Peterborough whoose contact details are below. For isotopically enriched metals, and others Cambridge Isotopes (http://www.isotope.com) are a good start, they may not be the cheapest around but are used by many reference labs due to the quality of the informaiton, uncertainties etc, provided with their products. I'm sure the people in Trent could also advise you on sources.

Subject: [ISOGEOCHEM] Calcium isotope in water

Hi to everyone,

I would like to investigate cation sorption/desorption phenomenons in
clay-rich soil during column leaching. I'm expecting calcium in the eluat
to be dissolved under the CaCl2 form. I would like to inject isotopically
labeled calcium and do mass balance calculation with calcium already
present in the soil.

Has anyone done something similar ? Does anyone know of a laboratory that
could isolate the calcium and perform the analysis ? Is labeled calcium
easily available ?

Thank you very much

Alexandre
