In the Journal of Archaeological Science, Zazzo et al. (2006) showed 
large offsets in d13C in modern bovine dentin due to bleach 
pretreatment, which were scale dependent.  I assume this is also the 
case with bone.  Does anyone know of any follow up studies that have 
been done or are being done on this subject?
