Hello All,

Does anyone have information on differences in water isotopes between
xylem water collected from tree boles versus branches? Also
differences related to the location (high, low, sunny side, shaded
side) of the sample collection? We would like to sample branches
instead of bole wood to limit damage to the tree, but have concerns
about fractionation in the branches. Thanks.

Lola.
