A postdoctoral position within a stable isotope methods development project is available 
starting January 1, 2009 at the University of Hawaii in Honolulu.  The successful applicant will 
innovate an off-line method to isolate O from organic and inorganic compounds with high N:O 
mass ratio.  Applications will follow as the project develops; funds for two years of work are 
in-hand; employment beyond first year of work will be based on performance.  Previous 
experience with vacuum lines preferred.  Send C.V., pdf of one representative publication and
