Has anybody had experience dealing with slightly acidic liquid samples of
fish or plant origin, pH between 3 and 4?? We have been running these
samples for a while using our continuous EA-IRMS system. We noticed that
some samples can eat through an EA combustion column, some can do nasty
things to the source.
Please share your thoughts on WHY, as well as HOW to deal with that.
Much appreciated.
