Shaun,

If I recall correctly, CH4 has a partial pressure of approx. 10 mm Hg 
or so at liquid nitrogen temperature, so if you can reduce your 
pressure below this then CO2 will freeze at liquid nitrogen 
temperature but CH4 will not.
