Dear colleagues,

The 2005 general assembly of the European Geosciences Union which will be
held in Vienna (24-29th of April) is now open for submission of abstracts.
We would like to draw your attention to the special session HS42 "Recent
Advances in groundwater pollution studies using isotope tools" dedicated to
applications of isotope approaches to groundwater pollution studies, which
you can find in the "Hydrological Sciences" Programme:

HS42 "Recent Advances in groundwater pollution studies using isotope tools"
at http://www.copernicus.org/EGU/ga/egu05/programme_overview.html

This session is open to all contributions in groundwater studies where
isotope techniques are used as analytical tools. Abstracts dealing with
groundwater contamination investigations using a broad spectrum of isotopes
including the less commonly used in hydrology are invited. Experimental
studies that introduce new approaches or techniques are most welcome.

More details about the meeting and details on travel, registration, and
submission of abstracts are available on the EGU website :

<http://www.copernicus.org/EGU/ga/egu05/index.htm>
Deadline for submission of abstracts is January 21st.

We hope that you'll all consider this a good opportunity to present recent
results, and look forward to your contributions

on behalf of the conveners Cheikh Gaye (IAEA); Stephan Weise (UFZ) and
Philippe Negrel (brgm)
