Dear Nathalie, Jon and others,
IAEA-S-3 is reported by Manfred Groening (IAEA) with a value of delta34S of
-32.30plusminus0.12 per mil. The status as given is reference material
(IAEA-S-1 is the only material with the highest status of 'calibration
material').
The AgS reference materials IAEA-S-1/S-2/S-3 were produced by Brian Robinson
at the IGNS, Lower Hutt, New Zealand. Stan Halas, in cooperation with Roy
Krouse, was involved in production of the IAEA-SO-5 and IAEA-SO-6, following
Manfred Groening in his reporting.
Considering not getting the given value by your measurement procedure does
not directly imply the value is not correct.
To give an argument to think about: Do you measure the defined value for
SLAP in relation to VSMOW when calibrating your system for H?
