List Members,
This is the first announcement for the 12th Canadian CF-IRMS
Workshop, to be held at the University of Victoria in Victoria, B.C.,
from June 11th to 14th.
For those that have never attended, the workshop is a unique
opportunity to interact with other IRMS users with a broad range of
research interests and backgrounds all related to continuous flow
measurements. The event is limited to 100 attendees in order to
maintain an inclusive, cooperative atmosphere. While traditionally a
Canadian event, many international visitors participate in the
workshop as well.
Professors, lab managers, technicians, and grad students alike all
benefit from the experience.
The focus of the workshop (talks and posters) is not on specific
scientific results and interpretation of data, as in other
conferences. Instead, this is an opportunity to discuss problems and
advances in CF-IRMS measurement techniques. In this spirit, the
equipment manufacturers that help sponsor the workshop are active
participants in the sessions.
Registration details and a link to the Workshop web site will follow
in the coming weeks, but this is an early announcement to alert you
to the dates.
