Pat,
Because of the proximity to the Electromagnet, the analyzer turbo needs
the magnetic shield. Find an empty coffee can or an un used paint can
(Those gallon size ones) from a supply store and have a strip cut to
fit the neck of the turbo pump (approx. 2" wide). You can have a bit of
overlap when you wrap it around. Then tie it down either with heavy
cable ties or a hose clamp. It works.
