We replaced the setup completely with pyrex tubing for the trap and new
stainless swagelok fittings with teflon ferrules. It has been working very
well, it is completely leak tight and the water blank is extremely low. It
just takes some creative use of adaptors to go from the tubing on the EA
to a suitably large bore for the trap. I am not sure of the measurements
but would be happy to get them for you if you are interested.

Good luck,
Chris

* Has anyone re-vamped their EA's water trap configuration. We are having
* progressively worse and worse problems trying to get air tight seals,
* even when replacing absorption seals, red caps, etc.
