Hello Mireille,
Probably, you need something called top bench chamber, attachable to 
freeze dryer instead of manifold (usually it is plexiglas cylinder with 
cover and rubber gaskets). I can recommend you Labconco Freeze Dryer 
2.5l, which I was using in previous lab: 2 yrs operation almost 
everyday, no problems, quick and very efficient, easy to clean. It is 
good idea to purchase shelves, so you can easily  accommodate up to 15 
x100mL typical urine containers, or one 2L beaker.
