Dear Colleagues,

I'm trying to install rain samplers for isotope analyses (D/H, 18O/16O and
possibly tritium).

The sampler will be used to collect monthly composite rain water and
installed in a place where power supply is available.

I'm basically following the method recommended by IAEA but the problem is
for the snow season during December ~ February.

Can anybody recommend methods that can be used to collect snow (monthly
composite as well) while minimizing sublimination and evaporation?

And is there a way to keep the collected water in sampler not to freeze in
the field?

Thank you in advance for your information.

Sincerely,
