Just FYI,

Concerning reformatting the hard drive to get two partitions (C and D)
instead of sticking with a single partition: There is software out there
that will change the partitions on your computer without requiring that the
hard disk be reformatted. The one I have used on my home computer for this
purpose is "partition manager". There are others I am sure.
