Dear Ilaria,

probably you may wish to start with the excellent paper by Peter Deines et
al. published in 1974(?) in GCA. Model discussions and field data of open
versus mixed versus closed system conditions for ground water evolution in
carbonate rock-dominated areas have later on published by other groups.
Interessing is also the question of incongruent dolomite dissolution (see
studies by Niel Plummer, T. Wigley etc. in the 70s and 80s of the last
century);-).
