Isogeochemists:

I am sending this message for one of our graduate students who is not
on the List.

Our student is interested in having analyzed the oxygen isotopic
composition of quartz veins and whole-rock samples, and the oxygen
and deuterium isotopic compositions of inclusion fluids in vein
quartz (either individually by laser or, more likely, by bulk crush
techniques because of the small size of the individual inclusions).
Although the number of samples would depend on the cost/sample, I'm
guessing the number would be between 10 and 30 samples. Our student
also intends to leach the residue left after crushing fluid
inclusions and analyze the leachate by ion chromatography in our
Dept. later., so he would like to have any bulk crushed samples
returned.

Our there any labs out there willing to do these analyses, and, if
so, what would the charge be per sample for the various analyses.
Please reply directly to me and not the List.

Thanks!

Steve
