Hi Bryan,

In our lab, our IRMS units are Delta XP's so they are their own bench. Our
peripherals (EA, GC, Gas Bench, TC/EA) are on custom benches. The benches
are based on those used at the University of Ottawa, made from 1" square
tubing with Formica counter tops and locking swivel wheels.

The custom setup can make for more efficient access. For example, our EA's
are at a low height for easy loading of the autosampler and wheels allow for
maintenance on adjacent hardware. The steel frames are solid, and can
easily have leveling legs for mounting of a balance or to limit mobility. I
can send you a picture if you want.

Cheers,

Subject: [ISOGEOCHEM] Work benches for new IRMS unit

Folks,

I'm interested in purchasing some laboratory benches for a new
CF-IRMS we'll be purchasing. Does anybody have any suggestions and
recommendations based on personal experience? Your suggestions would be
greatly appreciated!

                                          Thanks!
                                          Bryan
