The Institute of Plant Sciences at ETH Zurich, Chair of Grassland 
Sciences, seeks

technical staff for the mass-spectrometry lab (100%)

Responsibilities:

You will work in a mass-spectrometry lab, where plant, soil and gas 
samples are analyzed for their stable isotope ratios. Two IRMS as well 
as periphery are available. Working together with the Isolab manager, 
you will be responsible for instrument maintenance, sample preparation 
as well as routine analyses (including machine time coordination). In 
addition, you will take care of a stand-alone C/N elemental analyzer.

Requirements:

You are well-experienced in elemental and gas analyses, preferentially 
with stable isotope analyses (C, N, O, H). You are interested to 
achieve and to maintain highest measurement quality. You work 
independently and enjoy working in an international team. You speak 
English and German, our main lab languages.
