Hello,
I just thought I would share my experience (see my previous post).
Since the problem was seen immediately after I had the source apart I
assumed that the problem was in the source. Wrong. It was the magnet
position. The large bolt at the base of the magnet support which locks
the azimuth adjustment had come lose - I don't know why - and the magnet
had been moved slightly, maybe while I was working near it. Anyway, I
put the magnet back where it should be and the problem disappeared. I'm
running stabilities now but it looks to be as good as ever.
Thanks to those who replied.
cheers,
David
