Mauricio,
I have lots of experience with this auto sampler (as 128). If you put a new
cone in and it still leaks the backing plate is most likely loose. The plate
is the component that has the four pins in it that the cone fits into. If you
unbolt the next section behind the cone it contains this part, you can
remove and tighten. Inside this section there are springs that keep the cone
forward and if this section is not tight the cone will not have the correct
tension against the front of the sampler to remain leak tight. I do not know of any
pictures of this spring section. Before I discovered it on my own I would
put a dime behind the cone to push it forward enough to seal. The part number I
have for the Cone kit is 19004157 that includes Cone, O-rings, mirror and
front lens. Of course if the sample manifold is scratched (the part the cone
seals against) you need to buy a new one part number 35023009. If you need more
information or want to send it in to be rebuilt contact me.
