We would like to hear if and how districts are dealing with unsecured wireless access points in nearby homes that provide unrestricted Internet access to students' and staff's personally-owned machines in school.

We permit students' and staff's personally-owned laptops to access our network (they sign an agreement and we type in the key). However, nearby homes give students unrestricted and unfiltered access to the Internet, such as pornography and violent gaming.

We are about to hand-deliver a flyer explaining to neighbors that their networks can be accessed by our students. Anyone using more efficient or effective methods?
