I am forwarding this from the GroupWise list I belong to. I thought it might be of interest to this group. The survey is addressed to Novell customers, but I don't know why Google wouldn't be interested in hearing from anyone in education.

This was discussed on the TTP list where the consensus was overall negative towards Google Mail. At the TTP conference in Provo one institution had implemented Google Mail and had no complaints to air. None of the rest of the attending institutions had tried it although all had heard of it. Seems to be a control (or lack thereof) issue. Some institutions showed an interest in it for Alumni email. I'm sure most feel that Google Apps encroaches on their IT territory and will ignore it as long as possible.
