Gee Thanks, Gregg. Actually it is something we've been considering.
Since participation has dropped below 50% we'd like to see what we can
do to bring the numbers up. We're also giving thought to developing an
erate application management service with VITA-Learn. I'm not sure if it
would be cost effective, but if there's enough interest, then we could
at least develop a proposal.

Four years ago, when E-Rate was just coming out, Bill, Phil and I did
workshops in each of the 5 regions of the state on the legislation and
E-rate process. Perhaps it is time to ask VISMT or the DOE to repeat
these offerings for those people who are new to the maze? (It's easy
for me to suggest this though, since I don't work for VISMT anymore!)
