Cool!

In iMovie 2 all the claymation students do is use the 'still' function on
the digital 8 cameras, import it to iMovie 2, drag it to the time line, use
the 'speed' slider to accelerate the video, and export it.  DONE.  Sometimes
they need to run it through twice.....

Having been a professional video producer in a previous career, I LOVE this
program, which comes free with every iMac BTW....
