My 2 cents in the upgrading OS debate...

If you have yet to do any migration at all from Win95/98, it seems to make
sense to me to go right away to WinXP Professional (they say the Home
version is not meant for networks). It will remain in Microsoft's realm of
"supported OS" longer (remember, Win2000 has been out since 1999 making it 3
year old already) and will allow you the ability to lock the machines down
to keep those prying hands from making changes that will crash the system.
I have XP on my new Dell home machine and haven't had to reboot it in a
month, literally... I keep it on all the time. The new remote support
feature sounds great as well, though I have yet to try it out.
