I'm working with a teacher brainstorming an idea for
some of her third grade students.  They will be doing
a study on humor and would like to draw some cartoon
type characters and do some simple animation with
them.  I believe I heard that someone had done
something like this with Powerpoint and possibly
presented at a conference in the past year or so?

This needs to be on a very simple scale as there is
little time to work with them ... and, our budget is
frozen so there is certainly no way of buying
expensive software though we might be able to squeeze
something cheap.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
