Hi Roland,
A former colleague of mine should be able to help you with this straightforward assay.

Subject: [ISOGEOCHEM] measurement of enzyme activity
Dear Isotope community,
we are looking for a laboratory with knowledge on measurement of enzyme activities in plant material. In special, we are interested in malic enzyme (EC 1.1.1.39) catalysing the reaction malate + NAD+ <=> pyruvate + CO2 + NADH.
Is there someone who is doing that sort of analysis on routine base?
Many thanks in advance
Best regards
Roland
