Mike-
This will not take me long, UNFORTUNATELY.
Moving from Zurich to UVM was a reverse quantum leap in terms of equipment,
but there's a lot of potential here (very good people & lots of empty space
in the lab). So, just give me some more time.....
>1. Who manufactured the mass spectrometers in your lab?
VG. It's a SIRA II
>2. How old are they?
It's a 1990 but looks and runs like new!
>3. How many do you have?
1..?
>4. What "front-ends" are attached?
none yet (grants pending...)
>
>5. Opinions please on "How do you feel regarding the aquisition of Fisons
>by Finnagans parent company?
Having only VG/Fisons and Finnigan to choose from was already bad enough.
Now it will probably just get worse (does anybody know how to put somebody
from Finnigan & VG on this list? Matt, what about you?). Does anybody know
a good alternative to Finnigan-Fisons??
Andrea
