I'd appreciate your input on whether it is better to go with stainless
steel or Ni-tubing for the metal portion of a laser-fluorination line.
I'm hearing speculation from some colleagues that stainless steel
produces corrosion products that retain and fractionate oxygen at low
temperatures. Has anyone else experienced such problems? Are there any
other reasons to go with one material over another?
