There are two possibilities for papers which I could submit to Theme
Session T29.
The problem is that I will have to see if I can persuade at least one
co-author to also go as the rules allow only one abstract.
On one paper, Mike Francis and Les Stehmeier would be my co-authors and the
title will be something like
                             "Carbon Isotope Investigations of
Biodegradation of C5+ Hydrocarbons"
The other paper would be co-authored with Bernhard Mayer , Ann-Lise Norman,
and possibly colleagues from SUNY, Syracuse.
It would be entitled something like "Stable Isotope Tracing of Sulfur
Contaminents in the Environment"
In both cases, data would be reported from our continuous flow
instrumentation...in the first case, the GC-combustion-CF-IRMS in
combination with our SPME techniques which we have been developing for well
over a year and in the second case with our
Carlo-Erba -CF-IRMS where we have been routinely analysing in the 5-20
microgram of sulfur range per sample.
In the second, we can emphasize air, water, or a bit of both. Is there any
preference?
I am heading to the BIOGEOMON meeting Monday by automobile and I will
probably be back in Calgary by July 05 . Perhaps I can get the Abstract(s)
done while at BIOGEOMON .but I suspect that it will be the last minute
rush that I tend to default to.
Yours sincerely,
Roy Krouse.
