Hello,
I'm just beginning my PhD at the Geologisches Institut of Bern University.
The subject deals with calibration of relationships between environmental
parameters and H, C and O isotopic ratios of peat bog plants. As a first
step of this project, I would try to quantify this relation with some
peculiar species of vascular and non-vascular peat plants growing in modern
bogs in switzerland. The second step will concern the application to the
fossil plants in order to reconstruct environmental changes during the
Holocene.
I wish to subscribe to the isogeochemlist and therefore I'll be very
interrested to get some contacts with people working on similar topics.
Thanks in avance.
Guillemette
