Andrea,
I am using a BEST FERRUPS to supply emergency power to my noble gas mass
spectrometer and also to condition the line voltage coming into the
instrument. The source is rated at 3 KW, 208V input, 120V output and has
saved me considerable downtime several times as our power in eastern
Ontario is subject to outages during thunderstorms. I find that I can
run my MS for at least 2-3 hours on the FERRUPS without any problems
after I loose the main grid.
