Peter,

We had a similar problem and gently cleaned the flakey sensor with trich.
You really only need one forevac sensor, forevac 2 behind the turbo to trip
the relay switch on the BMG to turn on the Ionvac guage so that the source
can be turned on.  If you have one good sensor you can put that behind the
turbo and use another less expensive TC for the forevac 1, the roughing
system (Edwards, Varion, MDC, etc).  Hope this helps.
