There is currently a Zuckerman studentship available in the School of
Environmental Sciences, University of East Anglia for post-graduate study
leading to a PhD. The candidates should preferably be Israeli or failing a
suitable candidate, eastern European. The studentship can be used to carry
out research in any area of the environmental sciences. Persionally, I am
keen to find a student interested in working in stable isotope geochemistry
and/or high precision mass spectrometric measurements of atmospheric
oxygen/nitrogen ratios as a tool to helping understand the global carbon
cycle.
If you are interested in the post and would like to discuss any suitable
research topics, or if you know of any suitable students, please contact me
a.s.a.p. There is no formal deadline for applications but it would help if
we could get moving on filling the post as soon as we can.
Best wishes,
Paul Dennis
